COVID-19

PROCEDURES & PRECAUTIONS

The health and welfare of our members and the wider community is of utmost importance to the club at all times and even more so during this current pandemic.

Please ensure you are following the below procedures at all times when attending netball sessions and matches to keep you and others safe and reduce the spread of the virus.

We are very lucky to have parent volunteers who have become Covid-19 Officers. If you would like to know who there are please click here.

ARRIVAL AT TRAINING

One of our Covid-19 officers will greet you on arrival before entering the court. Whilst being signed in you will be asked to sanitise your hands and scan the QR code for the England Netball track and trace. Link is also available here if QR is not working. This can be done by the child or parent. Please note, this is not the NHS track and trace app.

DURING TRAINING

Please try and remain at least 1m from each other during training sessions and adhere to the modifications of the game during match play. Details of the modifications can be found here.

LEAVING TRAINING

A one-way system is currently in place so you will be taken to the exit by one of the coaches. The Covid-19 officers will be at gates to ensure you sanitise your hands before leaving and sign out.

DO NOT ATTEND TRAINING OR MATCHES IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS DISPLAYING ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS.

MATCHES

All teams must have a Covid-19 Officer, a Team Manager and an Umpire. The Team Manager or Covid-19 Officer must also be a current first-aider and one them must also score the game. The scorer must stand, socially distanced, with the scorer from the opposing team. If you are unsure how to score a game, guidance can be found here.

All players must 'Opt In' to play netball (link to form can be found below).

QR code to be scanned on arrival at match venue for track and trace.

Parents to remain in cars during play. Only the roles listed above can be court side.

Please remain socially distanced during warm up, quarter time and half time breaks.

Please see below links to all the England Netball Covid-19 documents.
